Innovative cooling solutions for the international market
EFE Entwicklung und Fertigung Essbach GmbH has its headquarters in Freiberg in central Saxony. We have been finding the right solution for cooling problems in electronic components since 1994. In addition to our core competence – the development of individual and innovative cooling solutions and the provision of the necessary peripherals – we manufacture radiators to individual designs. Because of the sheer breadth of our service portfolio, we are also happy to undertake contract manufacturing work.
Since its foundation, our company has grown steadily to become an internationally active, medium-sized market leader and partner for companies in the field of power electronics.
Equipped with modern technical machinery operated by a team with the requisite expertise, the company’s 1,000m² main site in Freiberg offers optimum conditions for the complexity of development, design, manufacturing, series production, on-site assembly, commissioning and service, all from a single provider and bearing the prestigious ‘Made in Germany’ label.
Our mainstay is the development and production of heat sinks for power electronics. In the case of heat sinks for drive units consuming up to several hundred kW, the mounting base for the heat-generating power modules in the control cabinet usually consists of an aluminium base plate in combination with a stainless-steel tube. This achieves excellent thermal effects with maximum resistance to hydrochemical reactions.
