The cold plate – a truly versatile heat sink
Cold plates serve as a base in the control cabinet on which to mount all cold plate-compatible devices and electrical components that require water cooling. They give off their heat directly to the cold plate and thus to the coolant. Our cold plates have been conceived as modular units to cater for different enclosure widths.
We have perfected our casting technology to the point where we can append fine convection fins for secondary cooling on the cold plate, thereby maximising the cooling surface.
And of course, we are also able to supply the relevant accessories for secondary cooling.
In-house heat sinks – individual design
Our in-house heat sinks form the mechanical basis for various frequency converters, braking resistors, inductors and the like. Depending on customer specifications, they are designed in such a way that optimum cooling performance, configuration and ease of assembly are achieved. Supplied as a finished system assembly, the electronic components are mounted directly on the heat sink.
